July 2025 , Shaanxi Huadian Electric Co., Ltd. organized a trip to Gannan, Gansu, for all its employees, filled with surprises and touching moments. This trip was more than just a relaxing getaway; it was a vivid demonstration of the philosophy of "uniting our hearts and minds to build our dreams together." Immersed in nature and history, the team's bonds deepened and their shared convictions strengthened.

Our journey began at Labrang Monastery in Xiahe. Known as the "World Center of Tibetan Studies," this sprawling complex, one of the six major monasteries of the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, captivated us upon entering. Spanning a total area of 866,000 square meters, with over 400,000 square meters of built space, the complex faces south, backed by mountains and facing the water, shaped like a right-handed conch. Within the monastery, six large dratsangs, 48 scripture halls, over 500 monks' quarters, a Sutra Library, a printing house, and a pagoda are strategically arranged. The Wensi College, the largest of the monasteries, exuded a rich learning atmosphere. The monks, absorbed in chanting and studying, deeply impressed us with the profound depths of Tibetan Buddhist teachings. Strolling through the grounds, exquisite murals, majestic Buddha statues, and unique architectural styles-every detail reveals a profound religious and cultural heritage. Everyone slowed down their pace, quietly exchanging insights on faith and heritage. This shared awe and reflection quietly brought them closer.

After leaving Labrang Monastery, we arrived at the Sangke Grassland. From Labrang, Xiahe, travel 13 kilometers west along the Daxia River to the vast grasslands. With an average altitude of over 3,000 meters and a grassland area of 70 square kilometers, this grassland is a natural treasure trove of green. In summer, the Sangke Grassland is covered in lush green grass, like an endless green carpet, with a variety of wildflowers blooming in profusion. The Daxia River meanders through the grasslands, its clear waters reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, creating a poetic scene. Everyone, dispensing the fatigue of their daily work, ran and played freely on the grasslands, some gathered in groups to share snacks, and some worked together to set up tents and enjoy the fun of the outdoors. "Coming together" was at its most vivid moment – some helped their companions capture their leaps, others took the initiative to distribute water and food, and the laughter and joy reflected the closeness of hearts.

We then arrived at the first of the Yellow River's nine bends. Standing on the observation deck, the scenery before us was breathtaking. The Yellow River meanders here like a giant golden dragon circling across the vast landscape. The clear water shimmers in the sunlight, contrasting with the surrounding grasslands and mountains, creating a breathtaking scene. At sunset, the afterglow casts a shimmering glow across the river, tinting the entire Yellow River bend in a dreamlike orange-red. We stood shoulder to shoulder on the observation deck, silently absorbing the grandeur of nature. There was no need for words at this moment; our shared yearning for beauty imbued the word "united" with even greater meaning.

Ruoergai is like a poem or a painting, and like a dream or fantasy, it is the Flower Lake! Here we come, the beautiful Flower Lake!
Huahu Lake, a natural lake nestled on the Reer Dam grasslands, lies along National Highway 213 between Ruoergai, Sichuan, and Langmusi, Gansu. During its prime season, the lake's shores are a vibrant riot of color, resembling clouds, while the lake itself is ablaze with vibrant, water-stunning flowers. These seemingly ordinary-looking plants, however, become a pale lotus color during the abundant rains of July and August, tinting the pure blue waters a vibrant, sometimes light, lotus-hued hue, like the blush of a young girl in reverie.
The lake water is truly blue, indescribably pure. The clouds lingering between the water and the sky are indescribably enchanting.
Seeing a lake like this, you can understand why Li Bai plunged into the water to catch the moon and died, and why the beautiful young Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection in the water. Time becomes nothingness here, and the world truly can exist in a single, unitary state.
Some say Huahu Lake is like the feeling of first love: even though you're prepared, the moment it hits you is like a punch to the heart, leaving you dizzy and blank. Others say Huahu Lake is a small, lonely city: delicate, tolerant, indifferent, rich, full, dismissive, and self-sufficient. Today, Huahu Lake is even more mysterious and precious because it's so little known: the unchanging small wooden pavilion, the long plank road, the vast expanse of lake, the vast expanse of sky, the clouds tangled between water and sky. Photos taken from Huahu Lake always capture this simple composition. Yet, it always captivates. There's no other way. This will be the fondest memory for us at Huadian.

Named one of the "Top Ten Unknown Mountains" by National Geographic China, Zhagana is a paradise. Its unique stone city landscape, surrounded by peaks and shrouded in mist, creates a fairyland on earth. Entering the village, we discovered a patchwork of ancient Tibetan villages, where the villagers are simple, kind, and hospitable. We experienced Tibetan folk culture, savored local delicacies, and felt the unique charm of the perfect blend of nature and humanity. During our hike, if someone felt exhausted, a companion would take over their backpack; if someone lost their way, everyone would consult a map to find the way. The strength of a team is quietly forged through mutual support, just as our slogan, "Unite Our Hearts and Strengths," becomes increasingly clear through practice.

Our journey concluded with a reverent visit to the Lazikou Battle Memorial Hall. This sacred site of the Red Revolution, the museum showcases precious historical relics and detailed historical materials, vividly recreating the heroic deeds of the Red Army soldiers as they braved the bloody battles and broke through the formidable Lazikou Pass. Gazing upon the pictures and relics, and listening to the guide's heartfelt narration, we felt as if we had traveled back in time to that war-torn era. We deeply felt the great spirit of our revolutionary predecessors, who braved danger and sacrificed for their ideals and convictions. This visit taught us that "chasing dreams" is not just empty talk; it requires courage and commitment passed down from generation to generation. This insight will fuel our shared work.

During this trip to Gannan, all employees of Shaanxi Huadian Electric Co., Ltd., while enjoying the beautiful scenery and relaxing, also practiced the belief of "uniting our hearts and minds to build our dreams together" in their daily interactions. Everyone expressed their determination to bring the inspiration and strength gained from the trip back to their jobs, working together with greater unity and higher morale for the company's future. The fond memories of this journey will become the most precious footnotes in our pursuit of our dreams.
