
GW5 Seris Outdoor Three Phase AC High Voltage Disconnecting Switch
GW5 outdoor MV isolating switch is used for three-phase AC 50Hz outdoor high voltage electrical equipment, used for the line to switching under voltage pressed no load condition, and electrical isolation the maintenanced high voltage bus, circuit breakers and other electrical equipment and charged high voltage line, can also be used for the opening and closing small capacitance or inductance current. When the knife in the normal break position, can provide a insulation distance consistent with safety requirements. Widely used in 35~110kV substation.
GW5-40.5, 72.5, 126(W) I 630,1250,1600,2000 Distyle Fracture Level Rotation Outdoor Three Phase AC High Voltage Disconnecting Switch (hereinafter called switch) is supplied to high voltage circuitry for throwover under no load condition, and is used as electric disconnect for overhauled high voltage bus ,breaker and such high voltage electric device and high voltage circuitry with electricity.

3. Product can be sorted four models according to attached installing earthing switch: no earthing, left earthing, right earthing, double earthing. The attached installing earthing switch can be sorted two models according to short circuit current capacity: I earthing switch, n earthing switch. And dynamic short-time withstand value of n earthing switch is the same as disconnecting knife's.

Product structure and Working principle
1. Structure
GW5 IH disconnecting switch(Fig.2, Fig.3) is composed of three single poles, operating mechanism and transmission parts. Each single pole is set in an I – shaped frame, composing of underplate, axletree seat, support insulation, connection seat, left and right contacts, earthing static contact and earthing switch knife and so on.
Main knife of three phase ac switch is combined with CS171V series human mechanism; it also can be combined with CJ6 or CJ2-XG.; earthing knife is combined with CS171V series human mechanism. When human operating mechanism combines with electromagnetic lock, electric interlock among disconnecting switch, earthing switch and breaker can efficient achieved, avoiding incorrect operation.
2.Opening operation
I.Main knife working principle
The operation of gw4 is connected with switch main shaft through vertical transmission rod, joint and universal joint, and connected with each separate single pole through joint and link rod, so that it achieve synchronous act of the three single poles.
3.Earthing knife working principle
Three single-pole earthing knives are connected through three single-pole transmission rods. Main shaft of operating mechanism is connected with one set of space four-connection rods through vertical transmission rod and joint. When the mechanism acts, closing and opening operations of earthing knife are achieved through vertical transmission rod and space four-connection rods.
4.Auxiliary switch working principle
The auxiliary switch of operating mechanism is linked with main shaft of mechanism. Break or close the relevant contacts when act opening or closing, and give the relevant signals.
5.Main, earthing knives mechanical lockout
When both of main, earthing knives are combined with human operating mechanism, the interlock between eathing switch and disconnecting switch is achieved through interlock board of mechanism. When main knife operating mechanism is combined with electric mechanism, the interlock between eathing switch and disconnecting switch is achieved through interlock board between disconnecting switch and earthing knife rotation axis.
