GW1-12 Outdoor High-voltage Disconnector

Overview:

GW1-12G(D) series outdoor high-voltage isolating switch is a kind of switch designed according to the current national and international standards for a series of problems existing in the original GW1 switch.

GW1-12 Outdoor high-voltage Disconnector has a grounding system, and it is equipped with a CS8 manual mechanism, which can effectively prevent misoperations such as "hanging the live wire to the ground wire and closing the switch with the ground wire", and the operator does not need to connect the ground wire again.

The GW1-12 Outdoor high-voltage Disconnector has excellent electrical and mechanical properties and meets the requirements of national standard GB1985 and international electrical standards IEC129 and IEC694. It is an updated product of the current 10kV outdoor switch.

Structure: 

The GW1-12 Outdoor high-voltage Disconnector is a three-phase electrical appliance composed of three separate unipolar isolating switches. 

There are three structures: ungrounded, moving contact grounded, and static contact grounded. Each single-pole isolating switch has the same components, such as the base pillar and the front and rear static contacts of the operating insulator, the switch knife and the arc angle, etc.

a. Base: The base is bent from a 4.5mm thick soft steel plate, the shaft with the pull arm traverses the middle, and the base is drilled with holes for fixing the post insulators, installing grounding screws and fixing each Extremely useful, there is a slot on the top for the pull arm;

b. Pillar and operating insulators shall adopt ZPA~6 type (for 6 kV) and ZPA~10 type (for 12kV) pin insulators, and the minimum bending failure load shall be 375 and 500 kg. The operating insulator in the middle is used as a pull rod, its upper and lower sides are fixed with clamps, and its upper end is connected with the switch knife. The lower end is connected with the pull arm;

c. Front and rear static contacts: the knife holder and knife tongue are made of copper plate, fixed on the post insulator. The protruding horizontal end is used for wiring, and the curved upper part forms a reliable contact with the two sides of the knife;

d. Switch knife: 400A and 630A are both composed of two copper plates with a rectangular cross-section, while the 200A is composed of a copper plate and a galvanized mild steel plate. Both ends of the knife are equipped with helical springs to adjust the contact pressure;

e. Arc angle: It is composed of two 5mm steel needles. The ones that don't move are mounted on the blade, and the ones that move are mounted on the blade.

Notes on use:

(1) Inspection before putting into operation: the contact parts of the conductor should be in good contact, the connection between the switch and the busbar should be reliable, and the moving parts should be flexible.

(2) The switch must be operated after the line load is cut off during operation.

(3) The switch should be overhauled once a year. The main contents include overhauling the conductive contact surface, lubricating moving parts, replacing damaged parts, and surface antirust treatment.

Normal use conditions:

The GW1-12 Outdoor high-voltage Disconnector is used in a three-phase AC 50Hz circuit for opening and closing circuits when there is voltage and no load.

The conditions of use are as follows:

(1) The altitude above sea level shall not exceed 3000m, and the ambient temperature shall not be lower than -40°C and not higher than +40°C.

(2) The wind speed is not more than 35m/s, and the seismic intensity is not more than 8 degrees.

(3) It is suitable for polluted areas such as cities, factories and mines.

(4) It is not suitable for places where there are dangers of combustion and explosion, severe vibration and shock, and chemical substances that severely corrode metals and insulating materials.
