Product Overview

| Model | Rated voltage | Main application | Structural features |
|---|---|---|---|
| JN15-12 | 12kV | Used for 12kV switch cabinet maintenance grounding, often used in KYN28A-12 and other central cabinets. | Manual operation, spring energy storage mechanism, mechanical interlock, epoxy resin insulation. |
| JN15-24 | 24kV | Suitable for grounding protection of high-voltage equipment in 24kV systems, such as metal-enclosed switch cabinets. | Enhanced insulation design, higher short-circuit tolerance, some models with observation window. |
| JN22B-40.5 | 40.5kV | Used for 35kV level switch cabinets (such as KYN61-40.5) to meet the grounding requirements of higher voltage levels. | Large-size contacts, opening locking device, anti-misoperation interlock, metal housing or composite insulation. |
Application Scenario
JN15-12
Typical matching: KYN28A-12, XGN15-12 and other 12kV switchgear.
Scenario: distribution room, small substation, industrial and mining enterprise distribution system.
JN15-24
Typical matching: 24kV metal enclosed switchgear, ring network cabinet.
Scenario: medium-sized substation, wind power/photovoltaic boost system.
JN22B-40.5
Typical matching: KYN61-40.5, GBC-40.5 and other 35kV switchgear.
Scenario: large substation, high-voltage distribution system, power plant.
Key Differences
1.Insulation requirements
The higher the voltage level (such as 40.5kV), the stricter the insulation distance and material requirements (such as using silicone rubber or increasing the creepage distance).
2.Short-circuit capability
The short-circuit withstand current of JN22B-40.5 is significantly higher than that of 12/24kV models, and a larger cross-section grounding wire is required.
3.Interlocking design
JN22B-40.5 is usually equipped with multiple interlocks (such as interlocks with disconnectors and cabinet doors), which are more stringent in preventing misoperation.
4.Operating torque
The operating torque of high-voltage switches may be greater, and some 40.5kV models require auxiliary labor-saving mechanisms.
Precautions
All earthing switches must be operated after power failure and verified to be voltage-free.
Check contact oxidation regularly (especially for 40.5kV high current models).
The interlocking function needs to be debugged as a whole with the switch cabinet to avoid mechanical jamming.
