ERM1E series electronic plastic case circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are suitable for AC 50HZ (or 60HZ), with a rated insulation voltage of 800V, a rated working voltage of 400V and below, and a rated working current of 800A. They are used for infrequent switching and infrequent starting of motors. The circuit breaker has overload long delay inverse time, short circuit short delay inverse time, short circuit short delay definite time, short circuit instantaneous and undervoltage protection functions, as well as residual current protection (optional), phase loss protection function (optional), which can protect the line and power supply equipment from damage. The circuit breaker has complete and accurate protection characteristics, which can improve the reliability of power supply and avoid unnecessary power outages. Among them, the "Z, B" type control has a communication interface and can perform "four remotes" to meet the requirements of the control center and automation system.

Circuit breakers are divided into M type (higher breaking type) and H type (high breaking type) according to their rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity.
The circuit breaker has the characteristics of small size, high breaking capacity, short arcing, and vibration resistance.
The circuit breaker can be installed vertically (i.e. vertical installation) or horizontally (i.e. horizontal installation).
The circuit breaker has an isolation function, and its corresponding symbol is: "_/一"

Model meaning and classification

Note:
1. According to the rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity, it is divided into M type (higher breaking type) and H type (high breaking type).
2. There is no code for direct operation with handle: P for electric operation; Z for rotating handle.
3. There is no code for basic type, Z for intelligent communication type, B for programming communication type, X for fire protection type, and L for LCD display.

Main functions and features
The intelligent controller is the core component of the molded case circuit breaker, which is used for motor protection or power distribution protection, integrating measurement, protection, control and communication functions, protecting the line and power supply equipment from overload, short circuit, grounding and other fault hazards.
MCU microprocessor control, stable and reliable performance: the intelligent controller can supply power by itself, as long as one phase is energized, when the current is not less than 20% of its rated value, it can ensure the normal operation of the protection function;
Selective coordination with three-stage protection: the circuit breaker of category B has selective coordination with other short-circuit protection devices connected in the same circuit under short-circuit conditions; setting of protection function parameters such as overload long delay inverse time, short-circuit delay (inverse time, definite time), short-circuit instantaneous, etc.;
It has three-stage protection parameter settings of action current and action time, which can be adjusted in 4-10 levels: users can set and adjust the controller according to load current requirements, or choose to shut down the corresponding function according to user requirements (customized function, which needs to be specified when the user places an order);
High current instantaneous tripping function: when the circuit breaker is closed or in operation, if a short-circuit current (>20INM) is encountered, the magnetic tripping mechanism of the circuit breaker can be directly tripped, and the double protection is more reliable and safe;
With trip test (test) function: input DC12V voltage to test the circuit breaker action characteristics;
Fault self-diagnosis function: protect and detect the working state and operation of the intelligent controller itself;
With pre-alarm indication and overload indication: when the load current reaches or exceeds the set value, the corresponding light guide column derives the light source;
Magnetic flux converter double air gap technology: more reliable and stable operation, no false operation, reliable tripping, small power;
High protection accuracy: overload protection, short-circuit short-delay protection action time accuracy +10%; short-circuit instantaneous protection action value accuracy is +15% depending on the action current;
Installation is interchangeable: the overall dimensions and installation dimensions are the same as the same specifications of the ERM1 series molded case circuit breakers (Note: ERM1E-630 is the same as ERM1-800)
Optional functions (based on ERM1E intelligent communication type or programming communication type)
With temperature monitoring protection function: when the ambient temperature exceeds the set value (default setting 85C), the controller will output an alarm optical signal or trip the circuit breaker;
Dual-channel passive signal output function: for signaling (or alarm), capacity AC230V 5A;
With overload thermal memory function: overload thermal memory function, short circuit (short delay) thermal memory function;
With fire shunt function: overload alarm does not trip (provides a pair of passive contacts) and provides shunt trip function;
With communication function: standard RS232, RS485, MODBUS fieldbus protocol;
Can be connected to a handheld programmer: set various protection parameters of the circuit breaker and perform nearly 10 fault queries and various status displays;
Can be connected to an intelligent control module: convert optical isolation contact signal output, including programmable D0 output function;

Communication Function
The communication protocol conversion card can be easily connected to the PROFIBUS-DP protocol network, DEVICE-NET protocol and other distribution automation networks. It has remote control, remote adjustment, remote communication and remote measurement functions, which can realize remote operation of circuit breakers to achieve remote power dispatch.
