Overview:

LW38-40.5 Outdoor Sulfur Hexafluoride Circuit Breaker is a three-pole AC 50Hz outdoor high-voltage switchgear, suitable for the control and protection of 35KV power system, and can also be used to contact circuit breakers and open and close capacitor groups.


Structure: 

The LW38-40.5 Outdoor Sulfur Hexafluoride Circuit Breaker is a three-phase discrete porcelain column structure with a pressurized arc extinguisher. The three phases are fixed to a common chassis, and the three-phase gases are connected by steel pipes. The circuit breaker is composed of arc extinguishing chamber, pillar porcelain sleeve, transmission shaft, connecting rod, chassis and spring actuation mechanism.

Arc extinguisher:

The arc extinguishing chamber of the circuit breaker is mainly composed of static contacts, moving contacts, porcelain sleeves, cylinders with nozzles and other components.

Porcelain sleeve:

The porcelain sleeve is the ground insulation part of the main same road of the circuit breaker. Depending on the altitude of the place of use and the level of ambient air contamination, porcelain sleeves with different creepage ratios can be selected.

Gearbox:

The function of the gearbox is to convert the horizontal movement of the mechanism output into the vertical movement of the circuit breaker moving contact through the outer arm, shaft and inner turning arm; Rotary seals are installed at both ends of the shaft. The upper and lower outer arms are equipped with closing shock absorbers and slug buffers respectively.

Molecular sieve:

Installed on the side of the transmission box, the role is to adsorb the water inside the circuit breaker and the hypofluoride produced by the decomposition of sulfur hexafluoride.

Arc extinguishing principle:

The arc extinguishing chamber of the circuit breaker is a single-pressure pressure gas structure: that is, the circuit breaker is filled with 0.45MPa (20 °C gauge pressure) sulfur hexafluoride gas, during the shutter process, the pressure cylinder makes relative movement to the stationary piston, the gas in the pressure cylinder is compressed, and the gas outside the cylinder forms a pressure difference, and the high-pressure sulfur hexafluoride gas strongly blows the arc through the nozzle, forcing the arc to extinguish when the current crosses zero. Once the shutter is completed, this pressure difference quickly disappears and the pressure inside and outside the cylinder is restored to equilibrium. Since the stationary piston is equipped with a check valve, the pressure difference when closing the gate is very small.

Normal use conditions:

Altitude: 3000m and below.

Ambient air temperature: a 30 ~ +40 °C.

Relative humidity: the daily average is not more than 95%, and the monthly average is not at 900/0 (25 ° C).

Wind speed: not more than 700Pa (equivalent to 34m/s).

Pollution grade: IV and below, porcelain sleeve climbing distance J256mm and F.

There are no flammable substances, explosion hazards, chemical corrosion and severe vibrations.
